Girard Tract Specific Plan

In 1989 the Los Angeles City Council enacted Girard Tract Specific Plan, an ordinance that established uniform development standards for all parcels of land in the Girard Tract. The goal of the ordinance was to avoid excessive densities in the hillsides and traffic congestion in the narrow streets of Girard tract.
